SPI Surface Finish Chart

Download our SPI Surface Finish Chart

This chart references SPI surface finishes from A1 thru D3. The standards were originally put together by SPI (Society of Plastics Industry) who is now PIA (Plastics Industry Association) which is apart of SPE (Society of Plastics Engineers). These surface finishes are excepted world wide, not just in the United States. For example, if you need to call out any one of these finishes with a vendor outside of the US, they will align with these same Ra numbers and methods. This chart can be used to help you align with your vendor. If you have questions about surface finishes, contact us!
